Installation error - Dialog SmartBond Flash Programmer v1.0.4

Thu, 2020-10-08 15:29 -- filipesousa

Hello,

During installation of Dialog SmartBond Flash Programmer  v1.0.4.2972, I get the following error: "A script required for this install to complete could not be run"

If I try to run the software after bad installation I get "invisible.vbs" missing.

OS is Windows 7 Pro 64.

I hope you can help me with this problem. Thanks.

Sending a lot of data by UART (DMA using)

Mon, 2020-10-05 18:06 -- adam.stroz

Hello,

i have a small question about sending a lot of data by UART using DMA ("UART_OP_DMA"). I tryed to send for example 450 bytes of data (char tab[450]). I recive data on terminal but only about 400 sign is correct. When i use "UART_OP_BLOCKING" everything is correct.

iBeacon sample app sending beacons twice

Wed, 2020-09-30 21:12 -- helaman

Hi,

I built and ran the sample iBeacon app. As I sniff the packets, I see that the iBeacon packets are being sent twice every 100ms. This causes twice the power draw that I expecting based on the spreadsheet for power consumption.

What would be causing this to happen.

Attached I have added a screen shot of my BLE capture in wireshark.

Custom board SWD bringup help

Wed, 2020-09-30 07:01 -- andrewsdai

We are having trouble getting the DA14531 connected via SWD on our custom board.

I've attached a snippet of the circuit on the custom board.  We are able to see 3.0V at VDD.

We are using the JTAG on the DA14531 Dev Kit Pro.  We hooked up the grounds of the two boards, and connected our custom board's SWDIO to the dev board's J1 SWDIO.  And connected our custom board's SWCLK to the dev board's J1 SWCLK.

However, when we hit Start Debug in Keil uVision, we get the error message: No Cortex-M SW Device Found.

PROBLEMS TO START AT+BINREQ

Tue, 2020-09-29 20:20 -- marksabbath

Hey everyone! We are having some issues here to build an APP using this device. We are currently using React Native and we actually are able to receive some responses from the device, like the ATI.

The problem becomes when we try to move to the binary mode (AT+BINREQ). We cannot find any example on how to start that mode and start sending data.

undefined reference to `custs1_default_handler'

Mon, 2020-09-28 12:18 -- me2a3ld

Hi all,

I recently had to move to Smartsnippets studio and therefore needed to use the default prox_reprter app and adapt for my uses. However, I always come upon this problem when compiling:

undefined reference to `custs1_default_handler'

No matter what I do to the Custom services set up, I always hit this error in the prf.c file at:

how to find out a central device supports HID input

Wed, 2020-09-23 03:48 -- hugangbin

Hi, Dialog

Good to know that DA14531 can be connected with multiple central devices.

We are going to implement a remote based on DA14531 which will be connected with a smartphone an a thirdpart central device.

Here is my question, How can we know which central device supports HID input feature without extra self-defined protocol?

Thanks.

Extended sleep wake from BLE

Tue, 2020-09-22 20:50 -- gittemeier

Hi Dialog Team,

I'm interested in using your DA14531 in a low powered sensor application, and am especially interested in your Extended Sleep power mode. Can you maintain a BLE connection in this mode, and can receiving a BLE message wake you from this mode into the active state? In section 4.2.2.2 of the datasheet, it says "RAM is expected to be retained for ... keeping a BLE connection alive (stack variables or BLE data)", but later I can only find references to waking from a GPIO or a timer.
