Dialog Wearable

Wed, 2019-10-30 16:12 -- Sparta

Hello, Dialog expets.

I have dialog wearable kit and I have few questions.

I want to advertise sensors data in advertisement packet. But as I know advertisement packet can be up to 31 bytes.

In current firmware of wearable kit advertise it's name and supported services. If I will change for example each 100 ms advertisement adv_data by disableing services and add some new data - will it work still with adnfroid and iOs app? I mean next

Now we have:

Example code for NVRAM VES Code for DA14681 with flash

Tue, 2019-10-29 10:24 -- mahmed106

Hi dialog

I am working in a custom board based on DA14681 and using firmware pxp reporter. Everything is working smoothly as expected, but now i want to save my data into flash.

In flash adapter document, it is mentioned that
" A sector can be erased a limited number of times only (guaranteed by manufacturer). After that
number of erase cycles, data storage is unreliable."

BLE tutorial not working

Wed, 2019-10-23 09:39 -- MassimoDeFacci

Hello, I have a 14681 board, and I'm trying to use the BLE functions. I decided to follow this tutorial to learn:
(http://lpccs-docs.dialog-semiconductor.com/da1468x_custom_ble_profile/in...).
What I did was, as written in part 3 of the tutorial, copy the code written in part 4. I made sure to copy everything in the right place and to put the files my_custom_service.h and my_custom_service.c in the folders sdk/ble_services/include and sdk/ble_services/src.

Send around 20 bytes in a characteristics in pxp reporter DA14681

Tue, 2019-10-22 11:02 -- mahmed106

Hi dialog

I am working on custom board based in DA14681 and i am using pxp reporter as a base project and sending data over the BLE by making a custom service notifiable. So far everything is working great. Now i want to send more than 1 bytes, e.g i want to send 10 or 20 bytes on that characteristics but i am unable to do it.

Here is the service code but it is working for single byte of data transfer. How i can modify it to send 20 bytes or is there any example code that can help me in this regard. Thanks

typedef struct {
        ble_service_t svc;

無法找到SEGGER J-Link在SmartSnippets Studio>Preferences>Run/Debug

Mon, 2019-10-21 16:59 -- Johnlin325

Hi Dialog,

我follow步驟去執行

沒有辦法在SmartSnippets Studio>Preferences>Run/Debug找到SEGGER J-Link

但是我已經有安裝J-Link driver了,並且在Preferences>Run/Debug>String Substitution中,

我可以在

1.Variable找到jlink_gdbserver且Value為JLinkGDBServerCL.exe
2.Variable找到jlink_path且Value為C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGGER\JLink

這樣算是有成功安裝嗎?

Question about reducing retained memory during extended sleep?

Fri, 2019-10-18 19:16 -- yingfen

Hi,

The chip is 14683. We want to reduce the retained memory during extended sleep to reduce power consumption. I find a demo dk_apps\features\extended_sleep, in which the config file custom_config_qspi.h is like:
#define dg_configQSPI_CACHED_RAM_SIZE_BB                        ( 64 * 1024)
#define dg_configQSPI_CACHED_RETRAM_0_SIZE_BB                   ( 24 * 1024)

The total RAM+RETRAM_0<128k and compile successfully. But if we use the same config in our code, it will show an overflow error until we set RETRAM_0=128k-RAM.

Use C++

Thu, 2019-10-17 20:48 -- Dieter Falk

Actual SDK 1.0.14

I want to use SmartSnippets and you SDK with a C++ project.

I have seen in your SDK header files, that there is no C++ Support (could be added by some simple preprocessor defines)

Do you plan to support C++ in your SDK or do you already have a solution for this?

Best regards

Dieter
