Maximum charging current

Hello

How to increase the cell charging current to 1.5A? Is it possible with a DA1469X?

Hi piotrekd,

Hi piotrekd,

Thanks for your post online. Please take a look at DA1469x Datasheet and section 5.18 to see the charger characteristics. See also the UM-B-134: DA1469x State of Charge Functionality document to understand the whole process of charging and discharging a battery.

Thanks, PM_Dialog

Hi

Hi

Thank you for your response. I know these charging parameters. I have a 5Ah cell. I wanted to charge the cell in less than 10 hours. I thought maybe there is some way to change the charge current limit above 560mA and it is limited by the software algorithm, but it seems not. I based my guesses on the fact that DA1469X can detect a smartphone charger where the load current is up to 2A.
