Wireless Ranging SDK compatible devices

Hi,

I wanted to check if the Wireless Ranging SDK is compatible with the TINY module as well ? Or is this only suited for the DA1469x platform devices ?

Hi anib,

Hi anib,

Thanks for your question online. The WiRa SDK is available only for DA1469x product family.

Thanks, PM_Dialog

Hi Dialog,

Hi Dialog,

As we know,  the DA14531 has a RF monitoring block (RFMON) too, is there any way to get raw I and Q data from RFMON to implement a simple range detection?

PS:  Description in datasheet: da14531_datasheet_3v0.pdf

30.2.6 RF Monitoring
The Radio is equipped with a monitoring block whose responsibility is to acquire the data provided by
the RF Unit and other analog resources, to combine them in words of 32 bits (when necessary), and
to store them in system’s memory. Data can be the output of the Demodulator (I and Q) or be
provided by the GPADC. With the monitoring block, production tests of the corresponding block can
be achieved.

Thanks, Peter

Hi Peter Luo,

Hi Peter Luo,

Thanks for your question and for your the indication. This is not possible in DA14531 - it is a mistake and we will correct it in the datasheet. If you are interested in a “Range detection” application, you should move into DA1469x product family and Wireless Ranging ( WiRa ) SDK.

Here is the WiRa support webpage. You will find the WiRa SDK and user manual together with the “Social Distancing Tag” example.

Thanks, PM_Dialog
