DA14681 Reset Pin Maximum Input Voltage ?

Hi dialog

We are working on a custom board based on DA14681, We are using external GreenPAK Saleigo CPLD for external reset and by default that CPLD is powered on by 5V.

What is the maximum input voltage that RESET pin of DA14681 can tolerate. Can we send 5V pulse to reset pin?

Hi mahmed106,

Hi mahmed106,

For the RESET pad, it is same as GPIO characteristics. Please take a look at Table 786: Absolute maximum ratings and Table 787: Recommended operating conditions tables from the datasheet. However, please let me double check it internally and I’ll get back to you.

Thanks, PM_Dialog

Yes please check it and reply

Yes please check it and reply , because our design files are ready to send to factory. If there is any update, we need to do it before factory starts fabricating baords. Thanks alot

Hi mahmed106,

Hi mahmed106,

Got a confirmation from the Team internally : it’s the same as the GPIO characteristics ( see my previous comment ).

A probable solution might me to use a voltage translator or a transistor circuit, so that you will feed the reset pad with a signal that is in spec of the datasheet.

Thanks, PM_Dialog
