"scatterfile_common.sct" Problem for Simple beacon Example

I have a DA14531-00FXDEVKT-U (Development Kit-USB). I want to do the "Simple beacon Example" example. I ran [python dlg_make_keil5_env_v1.006.py -sdkpath "C:\....\DA145xx_SDK\6.0.14.1114"]. But it is saying that the scatterfile_common.sct is missing. I am using the latest version SDK (6.0.14.1114) and Python (3.9.1). Can you help me?

Thank you in advance.

Hi ozgurkoc,

Hi ozgurkoc,

Thanks for posting online.

Since you are using the SDK6.0.14, please follow the procedure below, as the dlg_make_keil5_env_v1.006.py was for SDK6.0.12:

  1. Download the DA14585/DA14586 - DA14531 Multiperipheral Example
  2. Copy the DA14531- DA14585-586_Multiperipheral_Example\project_environment\dlg_make_keil5_env_v2.000.py and past it into da14531-da14585-586_reading_i2c_accelerometer_ble\project_environment
  3. Then execute the new python script :

> python dlg_make_keil5_env_v2.000.py -sdkpath “<path to your sdk repository>”

For instance:

> python dlg_make_keil5_env_v2.000.py -sdkpath “C:\dev\6.0.14”

Sorry for the out-of-date python script. We are working to update the python script on this example, so that can be ran with SDK6.0.14. Thanks for point this out!

Thanks, PM_Dialog
