Support in SmartSnippets for different flash models

Hi,

I am using a new flash (4MB) for my DA14695 based hardware. I am using SmartSnippets Studio v2.0.14.1748.

To flash my firmware to this file, I selected program_qspi_config and I see only 3 flash models listed for selection.

MX25U3235F

W25Q32FW

GD25LE32

My flash chip is different from these. How do I add the support for my flash chip?

Thanks and Regards,

Subramanyan

Hi Subramanyan,

Hi Subramanyan,

Thanks for your question. I would recommend first checking the DA1469x Tutorial Flash Driver Creation tutorial from the DA1469x product page. This tutorial demonstrates how to develop a new custom QSPI Memory Storage(Flash or RAM) driver by dividing the process into several subsequent steps.

In the Software Applications & Examples: Flash Drivers on the DA1469x product page, you will also find some flash drivers too.

Thanks, PM_Dialog
