SmartSnippets cli programming SPI flash failed

First, I can program SPI Flash with SmartSnippets Gui Interface.

I tried to use SmartSnippets cli to program devices for production but it failed. My command is:

SmartSnippetsToolbox.exe -type spi -chip DA14531 -jtag <mySerialNumber> -cmd write -file <myfile> -max 0x400000 -firmware "C:\Program Files\SmartSnippetsToolbox\SmartSnippetsToolbox5.0.14\common_resources\SupportPackages\DA1453x\toolbox_resources\common\flash_programmer_531.bin" -bootable

and output is:

The default SPI port configuration matches my hardware so I didn't explicitly specify them.

And I didn't hear the beep when downloading frimware.

Hi wpc,

Hi wpc,

Please refer to UM-B-083 SmartSnippets Toolbox User Manual (HTML) and section 29.1 to check how to use the CLI. If you are trying to program it over JTAG, the jtag_programmer.bin should be used instead of the flash_programmer.bin. Please find below an example :

.\SmartSnippetsToolbox.exe -type spi -chip DA14531 -clk P0_4 -cs P0_1 -miso P0_3 -mosi P0_0 -jtag 480071803 -cmd write -offset 0x0000 -file ".\Keil_5\out_DA14531\Objects\ble_app_peripheral_531.bin" -max 0x400000 -firmware ".\6.0.14.1114\config\toolbox_resources\DA1453x\common\jtag_programmer.bin"

The CLI will ask you to select if the device should be bootable. Please press ‘Y’ to make it bootable. The paths should be adjusted accordingly.

Thanks, PM_Dialog
