Unable to program the Flash in the module

Hi,

I have just bought a new DA14531MOD-00EVKT-P and setting up according to session 5.9.2 of  'um-b-141_da14531_smartbond_tinytm_module_development_kit_hardware_user_manual_1.1.pdf'

I used Flash programmer v1.0.4.2972 to erase and program 'codeless_531_standalone_set_two.hex' and other hex file and the same error found.

Attached is the log file.

Please advise if I missed any steps

Hi ngml73,

Hi ngml73,

Thanks for your question. I would recommend first checking the UM-B-139: DA14531 Module getting started Guide (HTML). Can you please check if you are following the correct steps and you have the same configuration?

Thanks, PM_Dialog

Hi,

Hi,

I follow every steps carefully and finally I realise the issue is the Flash programmer issue. I run in Windows 8 PC. I need to launch the software twice. First to erase the Flash on module and then close the software. Re launch it then I can program the hex file I want.

Pressing reset won't help. Lauching Flash programmer I can only perform one operation on the Flash at a time. Eiether erase or program. Perform more than one operation will fail.

Anywhere thanks!

Hi ngml73,

Hi ngml73,

Glad that you got it working and thanks also for the indication. The Flash Programmer is comparable with Win10, so you could also try this in WIN10 OS.

Thanks, PM_Dialog
