I2C with DCMP/PWM functions

Hello,

We are currently evaluating the suitability of your product for a new design. The design requires an SLG chip with ic2 and DCMP/PMW function, I looked at the product selector and did not find a single one! did I miss anthing? If so, the lack of i2c availability is preventing us from using the product, the microcontroller needs to change register values for more than just FSM, DCP or DAC(using SPI), but other components such as counters and delay pipes, and PGEN, is there a work arround example where we can implement a DCMP in say SLG46533 or SLG46537 or any other with i2c, and still have enough free functional blocks for the remaining design?

Thanks,

Hi Amine,

Hi Amine,

no, there is no one device with both DCMP/PWM and i2c but it's easy to create PWM using simple CNT/DLY block, it depends on your requirements. You can expect full design support from our side just collect all technical specs and timing diagrams, etc. for the design and please send them to your local Dialog FAE  Michael Quinn  michael.quinn@diasemi.com

Thanks and regards,

Pavlo

Hi Pavlo,

Hi Pavlo,

Thank you for the support on this matter, I went over the AN-CM-265 app notes, I was able to modify the design, but it still needs work, however, I will take you up on our offer for support from Michael.

Thanks,
