SLG46170 Nomenclature definition

On Sheet 11 Table 2 of the SLG46170 Data Sheet it references typical delays, the first row references a tpd for Digital input to PP 1X. How is this defined ?  Is this input (pad) to single output (Push-Pull)  pad ?

Also, what's the difference between "Digital input" and "Low Voltage Digital input"? Both are referenced in Table 2.

Hi rsbogdan,

Hi rsbogdan,

Thank you for your question,

Firstly, yes you are correct, tpd specified in DS is the greatest time each every PIN. Basically, the testing of tpd involves all combination of Digital Inputs with/without ST connected to PP 1x outputs. The results are the delays between inputs go HIGH/LOW and outputs go HIGH/LOW.

For more detailed information, please use the link: https://www.dialog-semiconductor.com/sites/default/files/propagation_delay.pdf

Secondly, the difference between DI with/without ST and Low Voltage Digital input are

1) Threshold levels Vih and Vil;

2) Propagation timings, especially when Low Voltage Digital input goes LOW.

If you have any further question, please let me know

Best regards,
