temporary disable

I have a use-case where I would like the operation of the chip's program to be halted. Is there a way to temporarily disable the chip, or do I need to account for such a scenario in my program?

Hi vmore,

Hi vmore,

Thank you for your question!

It is hard to say if the chip's program can be stopped without seeing your program. Sometimes it is possible to add some additional enable signal, which will stop operating the current program, or stop the OSC if CNT/DLY blocks are working. Some ICs have dedicated PIN which can reset all chip, but SLG46855 doesn't have this option.

Could you show me your program, probably, I will help you with your case. If you don't want to show your design to the public, please use my mail Oleh.Sapiha@diasemi.com

Best regards,
