Programmer for Reference Designs..

Dear Support Team:

I'm develop my own application using your device. Nonetheless, it has been a little bit confused about how to program your reference designs. The JTAG connector is very different from design to design. I'm planning to use JLINK EDU from segger to program and debug my design, but what about when I want to use OTP? Do you have other programmer with this?

Also I think could it be possible to configure one output of JLINK-EDU to enable a 6.8V circuity to use OTP.

Any suggestion you can provide me, I really appreciate it.

in our local offices we use a small JTAG cable  from tag-connect. (TC2050) and then program using Smart Snippets tool  through JTAG .

Many thanks for your response. In reference to this cable, I'd like to know if this cable connects to JLINK-EDU from segger or to other programmer. What programmer do you use? Segger? from your own?

Yes we are using J-link lite from Segger and our Smart Snippets 3.4 software tool.

That's was I need to know :). So my very last question will be about 6.8V circuit. I have read in your documents different implementations to achieve this. Nonetheless I'd like to know if you control this circuit with J-LINK lite.

Hi,

We don't control the 6.8Volt OTP programming voltage (Vpp) with the J-Link. The voltage can be applied to the Vpp pin manually before your program the OTP, and should be removed after you are done. Applying the 6.8V permanently could damage he chip over time.

The schematic of the EXPERT and BASIC kits both contain a 6.8V circuit that you can copy.

damaged.The 6.8V supply must be applied without ringing. The overshoot could also cause
