Question regarding uart_booting during production testing

Hello,

I have a question regarding the uart_booter. In the suggested production flow provided by you (dialog) you describe all the steps required during production, such as Testing, XTAL trimming, OTP burning and so on.

We have now been trying out the uart_booter using our own prototypes and it appears to work as it should with downloading the HEX file to the board. The issue that we have run into is that during the download process it asks us to press the reset button on the DA14580 and we were not planning on using that feature in the final version.

I read in your documentation that in order to make the DA14580 enter the proper booting sequence (without using the reset button I assume?) there are 3 steps that needs to be followed:

1. The interface board supplies input voltage to VBAT3V (buck mode) or VBAT1V (boost mode).
2. The interface board supplies 6.8 V to VPP.
3. The interface board enables the UART RX and TX signals to the DA14580

I tried that , using several different configurations, and it still prompted me to press the reset button. It does not either specify whether or not the 6.6V in step 2 should still be activated during step 3, you should clarify that in the documentation.

So, I probably have missed something obvious here, but please help me out on this.

Thanks!

I managed to solve this. It

I managed to solve this. It was in fact my UART driver that was not working properly. Sorry for the inconvenience. The steps described in the PDF works as they should.
